The Co-operative Group has invested over £1m in clean, green energy for schools. 100 schools around the UK have now been fitted with solar panels, helping them reduce both their electricity bills and carbon dioxide emissions. The scheme is also vital in educating children about carbon dioxide emissions and its environmental consequences.
