Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world. Reason enough for The Co-operative to have led the development of Fairtarde there. The tea growers of the Thyolo and Mulanje regions received a boost when The Co-operative became the first supermarket to switch our of their own brand hot drinks range to Fairtrade. The increase in Fairtrade premiums has benefited hundreds of tea growers and their communties. This film takes a closer look at these benefits.
